Had a great night 

I’m sitting at my desk  and all of a sudden my mind is thinking about traveling. San Francisco to Costa Rica, Bali, South America or Asia. All these amazing places to see and experience. That’s the problem when you have had a taste of travel. You want more, you need more. I think it’s worse the older you get. Knowing time is not on your side.

So at the moment my travel is limited to the daily commute to and from work on my trusty secteur comp. Sixteen miles round trip and keeping me in shape. Trying to beat my best time of twenty eight minutes traffic lights permitting and avoiding the cars, buses, lorries, motorcycles and other cyclists oh and not forgetting the human race trying to jump out in front of me. The weather in the main has been amazing for London but having said that I did get a proper soaking wet the other day when the heaving opened up.

Well I better get on my doing something.

I had a great time. Thats what I tell people when they ask about my trip, but to tell you the truth that doesn’t come close to describing it. What I can say is that it has left me with a desire to do it again. Maybe not on a bike but to travel and explore the world. I sometimes drift off to a world of open roads and warm sun on my back as my mind plays the trip back like a video. 

The feeling of starting your day with only a rough outline of where you’re going and with no fixed time frame left me feeling free like I have never felt before. My only regret is that I always felt like I had to be somewhere all the time. This made me feel restless and made me move on to quickly and not fully explore my surroundings. Also this stopped me connecting with people on a deeper level. I would of really liked to connect more with people. This left me a little isolated and lonely at times but on the other hand it did make me more independent and self reliant.

I’m having major problems with this app. So for the second time I will try and post some images. This time no text.. Just images and in two parts.

I had written a really long blog last night all about taking it easy, which in the end was a really hard day. But it looks like it failed to upload or had a problem. Some here are some more photos from yesterday.
